We have an active program of surveys designed to gather data on current practices in forensic science education and law enforcement. Many of these surveys are by invitation only, although public surveys will be posted here as appropriate. As these surveys are analyzed, we will provide a preliminary discussion of our findings or links to our published results.
Our most recent survey, Training in Genetics and Ethics in Forensic Science Programs, will be sent to selected respondents in April 2010. This survey is intended to assess the need and desire for augmented training in ethics in forensic science programs that train students in forensically-relevant aspects of human genetics. We will post preliminary results when available. Please check back for our results and information about our next survey!
